Camps
In 2022 we were lucky enough to be able to start offering a camp service on top of our normal respite to some of our younger participants! This not only provides a much needed break for the at home carer, but also provides a unique and exciting experience for the participant.
The camps provide a supervised group setting where participants can get to know each other, form friendships and let their hair down for some fun!
Our amazing staff work together and plan an activity packed few days for all our participants for all abilities. They also prepare a whole bunch of yummy food and everyone is very well fed that's for sure! Some of the participants even get involved and jump in to help on the cooking. We have loved being able to provide this service and hope to continue for many years to come! Will you come along to a FWC camp!?

Grantville
April 2022
In April 2022 we were launched our first camp with 18 clients and 11 staff down at Grantsville Lodge for two nights! The camp grounds provided many activities such as archery and we also ventured out of camp to do things like see the penguins and mini golf!
The Summit

2022 or Medieval times? These school holidays we decided to take a group of clients back in time to watch jousting, make potions, see dragons and throw axes!
This camp was jam packed with adventures and fun activities!

JAM PACKED OF FUN!
While this was our smallest camp it was jam packed full of activities! There was never a dull moment for these camp goers! And they all made it out of the maze.... Eventually!

The Ranch
April 2023
The Ranch! April 2023 - Our best camp yet!! This camp was jam packed full of activities for staff and participants to do. Horse riding, tree top walks among them!
We made huge progress with participants this camp and had loads of fun!
Sovereign Hill
October 2024
BACK TO THE GOLD RUSH!
This came we went back in time to the gold rush! Sovereign Hill was the main attraction for this camp as well as much much more! Unfortunately no one left with a big gold nugget :(
